The Columbia River Gorge, OR to Spokane, WA! WOW!! 🚣‍♀️⛷🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚢

It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful drive than up the West Coast….until the breathtaking 80 mile drive up Highway 84 through the Columbia River Gorge!   It literally took our breath away!   The River forms the border between Oregon and Washington as you see in the photo above, and is protected as a National Scenic Area.   If you like hiking, biking, fishing & water sports, this Gorge was made for you……complete with the spectacular Multnomah Falls!

Last year we did a Paddleboat River Cruise from just south of Spokane to Portland on the Snake & Columbia rivers through this Gorge.  It’s a very scenic, interesting cruise through 8 Locks, and a great way to enjoy the Gorge!   Complete with fun excursions like wineries,  Mt Hood & adventure boats up the Snake river!

It’s all delightful but now we cross the river & head East to Spokane , WA to visit family & friends!  One of the great things about RV travel, is you have your own little house while visiting! 🚐. Spokane has it all…..beautiful city, rivers,  parks & awesome trails to explore.   We enjoyed Manito Park,  Edwidge Woldson Park & Liberty Lake. Paul’s favorite part was “recreational eating”  at the Rocket Bakery! 😂

We have 3000 miles to the East Coast…we better get going… Don’t think the boat will wait! ⛴. Next it’s on thru Idaho & Yellowstone National Park to Billings, Montana!  👩‍🌾👨‍🌾.   Yeehaw!   Till then, Happy Trails & God Bless!🙏      P.S…. we are getting caught up so just a few days till the next post!🤗
